Exhibition "YOUTOPIA" Wins Transfer Award of the University of Konstanz Society

For their pivotal role in implementing the exhibition " YOUTOPIA - Stadtvisionen erleben", SFB-TRR 161 project leaders Falk Schreiber (D04, A09, Ö, INF) and Harald Reiterer (C01) received the Transfer Award of the University of Konstanz Society alongside their colleagues Stefan R. Hauser, Eva-Maria Heinrich, Eberhard Schlag, and Jan Behnstedt-Renn. Together, they form the teaching team of the module " Media Exhibition Design", which is being taught in Konstanz since 2013.

"YOUTOPIA" is the most recent interactive exhibition which resulted from the teaching module and was curated by architecture and communication design students. The interactive exhibition invited visitors to discover utopian city concepts and to think about how their own, ideal city would look like. It ran from July to October, 2023 in Konstanz.

With the Transfer Award, the University of Konstanz Society honors the project holders' outstanding transfer achievements and their special commitment to the dialogue between science and society. The award was presented at the New Year year reception of the society on January 26, 2024.
