For its 10 th edition of the  Best Scientists Ranking in the field of computer science, the academic platform  Research.com investigated data from 27,337 scholars, taking into account publications and citation metrics from multiple bibliometric data sources. Three SFB-TRR 161 project leaders are among the ranking’s top 10% of computer science researchers worldwide.

With 41,095 citations and 717 publications, Daniel Keim (A03) reaches position 494, placing him among the top 2% of computer scientists worldwide. Of the 591 German researchers considered for the ranking, he occupies position 22.

Albrecht Schmidt (C06) reaches position 1128 in the international comparison with 23,649 citations and 608 publications and thus ranks among the top 5% of computer scientists. Among German computer scientists, he reaches position 42.

Andreas Bulling (A07) and Daniel Weiskopf (A01B01, INF, MGKÖ) occupy positions 2422 and 2601 respectively, thereby placing them among the top 10% of computer scientists considered for the ranking. In the national ranking, Andreas Bulling reaches 111 th place while Daniel Weiskopf is placed 120 th.
