Associated postdoctoral researcher Marina Evers (A01) joined the most recent cohort of fellows in the Zia Fellowship Program of the ZEIT Verlag. As a Zia fellow, she will benefit from the many networking opportunities of the program, mentoring by female role models, and offers by the initiative’s partners in science, industry, and the public sector. The SFB-TRR 161 supports Marina Evers’s participation in the program in cooperation with the Pooling "Synergies for equal opportunities in collaborative research networks" of the University of Stuttgart.
The 2024/2025 cohort of Zia fellows got together virtually for a kick-off event on October 15, 2024. The first in-person meeting will be a networking event within the framework of the Berlin Science Week in early November.
Over the course of the one year program, the fellows and their research will also be presented in print and online publications of the ZEIT Verlag as well as the “Zia – Audible Women in Science” podcast, thereby granting more visibility to the fellows and their research topics.
