AH2019 – the Augmented Human (AH) conference – was hosted on March 11 to 12 at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, France. Marc Ernst, Professor for Applied Cognitive Psychology at the University of Ulm and SFB-TRR 161 project leader, was invited to held the keynote lecture during this international forum. With his talk titled Natural vs. Artificial Intelligence: Perception, Decision & Action, he could present his research visions and results to more than 100 participants.

The Augmented Human conference is an international forum that focuses on scientific contributions towards augmenting human capabilities through technology for increased well-being and enjoyable experiences. The topics of interest include among others Augmented and Mixed Reality, Brain-Computer Interfaces and Artificial Intelligence, Exoskeletons and Super Human Technologies, Muscle Interfaces and Implanted Interfaces, Applications for Human Enhancement, as well as Human-Factor Study. Special theme of this 10 years anniversary of this conference was Augmented Taste.
