From 8 to 9 October 2018, the visual computing community from all over the world will gather at the University of Stuttgart for the 1st International Conference on Quantification in Visual Computing (SFB-TRR 161 2018).

Call for Poster!

Extented abstract submission: July 1st, 2018
Notification of acceptance: July 15th, 2018
Poster due: October 1st, 2018
Conference: October 8th and 9th, 2018



We solicit original contributions related to quantitative methods in all aspects of visual computing,
including, but not limited to

  • Image processing and image editing
  • Image analysis and computer vision
  • Geometric modeling and 3D-printing
  • Computer graphics and computer animation
  • Visualization and visual analytics
  • Immersive analytics
  • Virtual and augmented reality
  • Human-computer interaction


Submission Information

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract of 2 pages in length, formatted according to the GCPR 2018 submission guidelines. Each submission will be reviewed by two members of the conference program committee. Acceptance will be based on relevance to the conference, novelty, and technical quality. Prior to the presentation at the conference, the final poster must be submitted as a PDF for electronic dissemination to the participants.

The submissions will not be published in official proceedings and not count as an official publication, in particular, their content can still be submitted elsewhere. Posters are allowed to showcase previously published work if it is clearly marked as such, but should have additional content.
